In general, people were going about their ordinary lives, doing the shopping, meeting friends and skateboarding. This chap was busy painting the Council House. I thought the act of painting a monument to power while a homeless person lay ignored by everyone perfectly summed up the state of the country.

I’m not a wildlife photographer, partly because I think the outdoors is overrated and partly because I don’t know a Lesser Spotted Weasel from a Dappled Sparrow Buggerer. However this Goldfinch(?) parked itself just outside my window.
